Consumer Credit Litigation Practice

We have extensive experience in all aspects of consumer protection laws. We have successfully defended both individual and class action claims, including multi-district litigation, alleging a wide variety of consumer protection laws including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ("FDCPA"), the Fair Credit Reporting Act ("FCRA"), the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (“FACTA”) and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act ("TCPA"), as well as similar state law claims and claims alleging deceptive trade practices and invasion of privacy. We are experienced in handling litigation in both state and federal courts across the country, including bankruptcy courts, as well as handling arbitrations. We have successfully briefed and argued motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment across the country as well as successfully defended consumer claims at trial and garnered favorable settlements on behalf of our clients.

We also advise clients on matters of compliance with regard to all aspects of consumer protection laws. We regularly partner with our clients to craft and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with such laws in order to avoid litigation and build a more efficient business.
